De Watergroep has an extensive production and storage infrastructure enabling it to produce 138 million cubic metres of drinking water per year. An overview of this infrastructure, which is continually monitored to ensure its optimal operation and regularly upgraded to meet new needs, is given below.
De Watergroep has 5 large surface water production centres:
- water production centre Kluizen (Evergem)
- water production centre De Gavers (Harelbeke)
- water production centre De Blankaart (Diksmuide)
- water production centres Zillebeke and Dikkebus (Ieper)

De Watergroep regularly participates in initiatives such as Open Business Day and the Day of Science. Open days are always announced in the news items.
In addition, the following locations are permanently open for group visits:
- water production centre in Eisden
- water production centre Kluizen (Evergem)

Research and development
De Watergroep has an ongoing, extensive research and development programme related to water technology in the broadest meaning of the term. It also draws up an annual investment programme for installations, supply pipes, and buildings.
