Optimal drinking water
Optimal drinking water is always available and of consistently high quality. This means:
- robust drinking water supply
- drinking water of excellent quality
Within this programme, a robust drinking water supply is a core value which we want to strengthen and build on by learning about, introducing, and testing new or complementary drinking water technologies.
De Watergroep is obligated to monitor water quality throughout the entire process from source to tap. Contaminations and standard violations can occur due to many factors.
Samplers periodically take samples which are sent to our laboratory. On the one hand, quality assurance is done classically via periodic sampling and analysis in the laboratory, and, on the other hand, digitally via online sensors.
Measuring and monitoring water quality is a continuous challenge. Not only because new measuring technologies enter the market, but also because more and more parameters can and must be monitored, for both chemical as microbiological characteristics. Monitoring developments and introducing or testing new measuring technologies are necessary to remain a leading company and thus guarantee water quality today, tomorrow, and in the future.
